Welcome to Paradise Vacation Hotel, in Placencia, Belize.
Paradise Vacation Hotel was established in 1984 and has just gone an extensive renovation. All our rooms are air conditioned and have private bathes. We are located on the beach at the southern end of the Placencia peninsula. We are an "in the village" beachfront hotel. Our location provides you with easy access to the activities in Placencia Village in a clean, safe, comfortable and affordable atmosphere.
On site you will be able to book a snorkel trip, head out on a sport fishing trip, or a diving trip with the majestic whale sharks. We can set up a fly fishing trip for you or arrange a tour to Monkey River, Nim Li Punit & Labaantun Maya Ruins, Blue Creek Caves or to the Cockscomb Basin Wildlife Sanctuary. Our beautiful dock allows you to depart directly from the hotel. We offer kayak rental as well as limited golf cart rental.
You can stroll along the beautiful white beaches of Placencia or take a walk through the scenic old village. The village boast of the narrowest Main Street in the world where you can shop for native art. When you are ready to settle down for a bite to eat you can do it at our waterfront restaurant and bar or grab a bite at one of the nearby restaurants. On site you will find a gift shop, a spa in which you can get a massage, a tackle shop, a dive shop and the tour office. Our gift shop has the native art of many of the local carvers and you will be fascinated with the woods of Belize.
You can relax on our deck over the water. You can enjoy fantastic views of Placencia Harbour from our waterfront rooms or waterfront restaurant and bar. There are breathtaking sunrises and sunsets to be viewed. The rooftop deck with a hot tub offers the best of views from the ocean to the mountains. The gazebo at the end of our dock offers the ideal place to relax before catching your tour, diving trip or fishing trip. You can kayak in the calm Placencia Lagoon where you are bound to see gentle manatees.
 We offer a selection of 12 rooms or a two bedroom condo. All rooms are now air conditioned, have private bathes and have just been redecorated. This makes us one of the few ocean front air conditioned hotels located in downtown Placencia. We are small enough to give you individual service, but large enough to offer you all the conveniences that you might want. | |
